Frequently asked questions about unIQ.

How do I add a child?

Go to More > Children > tap the + button. Fill in name, age, and as much of the learning profile as you want. You can always come back and add more later.

How does the auto-scheduler work?

Tell the app your child's subjects, how often per week, and any fixed appointments. The app builds a balanced week based on your child's energy patterns and learning preferences. This is a Pro feature — you can try it free for 14 days.

Can my child log in independently?

Yes! Set a 4-digit PIN in More > Children. Your child opens the app, enters their PIN, and sees only their own schedule. They can mark sessions as done and give feedback, but can't change subjects or settings.

How do I set up vacation days?

Go to More > School Year. Toggle recurring free days (like weekends) at the top, then tap individual dates for holidays or sick days. Changes save automatically.

What's included in Pro?

Pro adds intelligent features: auto-scheduling, curriculum pacing across the school year, automatic redistribution when lessons are missed, overload warnings based on your child's profile, and progress insights with charts. Everything else is free forever.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open your iPhone Settings > tap your name > Subscriptions > unIQ > Cancel. You keep Pro access until the end of your billing period. No questions asked.

Can two parents use the app?

Yes! Share your household invite code (More > Household) with your partner. They sign up and enter the code to join your household. Both parents see everything and can manage the schedule.

Is my data safe?

Your data is stored in the EU (Ireland) and encrypted. We never sell your data or use it for advertising. You can delete your account and all data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
